More success for YMS pupils as GCSE results announced

The School is rejoicing for the second week in a row over a wonderful set of exam results. GCSE grades were published today and our pupils deserve tremendous praise for their achievements.

86% of all GCSEs were awarded grades 9-6 (A* to B). This is the highest percentage since number grades replaced letters. 76 out of a total of 88 GCSEs sat were awarded these grades.

Robin Harskin, Head, said: "The boys and girls who took their GCSEs this summer were in year 7 when Covid hit. Their secondary education has been affected far more than we can appreciate, yet they have come through with flying colours and have been rewarded with brilliant grades. We congratulate them all. We are so proud of them and the way they have combined academic attainment with musical excellence, which is a hallmark of the Menuhin School."

If you are interested in studying at the School, there will be an Open Morning on Friday 11 October 2024. Prospective pupils, teachers, parents and guardians can register online.
